Hen-Ingvarz
Sunday 9 October, 21.00, Färjeterminalen, Stadshamnen 26
Get ready for a Hen-Ingvarz mayhem that dissolves norms, rules and everything you thought you knew about life in general. With songs about lonlieness, queerness, too many cats, underwear, and pizza there’s is finally a band that’s brave enough put words to life true dilemmas. Is it too hot too handle?
Hen-Ingvarz is a queer/feminist “dansband” (Swedish traditional romantic music). The band’s energetic stage charisma and sing-a-long friendly tunes makes it very hard to remain seated. So put on you dancing shoes and join us at Stockholm’s queerest dance parlor.
Hen-Ingvarz are inspired by traditional romantic songs but have created a unique nisch for themselves with lyrics about solitude, heteronormativity, cats, insemination, and queer love! Some of their most known song include titles like “Cats and Panties” as well as “Grandpa is gay”. In other words, an instant hit!
