The Stars We Are

Kalle is gay, skinhead and HIV-positive. We follow Kalle and his friends Henrik and Ibrahim during the Christmas holidays. They do drugs, drink coffee and discuss life and death, which Kalle sometimes long for. Mia Engberg’s familiar, challenging and hard-to-forget portrayal of a young man facing death was nominated for a Guldbagge for best short film 1997.
