Trogna sitt namn, Slave to the Sirens – det f\u00f6rsta och enda kvinnliga thrash-metalbandet i Mellan\u00f6stern – \u00e4r ytterst magnetiska. Mitt i politiska oroligheter och det hj\u00e4rtsk\u00e4rande uppr\u00f6jandet av Beirut, b\u00f6rjar fem bandmedlemmar visa v\u00e4gen f\u00f6r uttryck, motst\u00e5nd och sj\u00e4lvst\u00e4ndighet. Filmen f\u00f6ljer grundaren Lilas Mayassi och gitarristen och Shery Bechara och deras \u00f6msinta (och ibland bittra) relation med varandra och hur den utvecklas i b\u00e5de ov\u00e4ntade och r\u00f6rande turer.
