\nFredy Samuel Lundh aka FredyClue is a folk musician, playing the Swedish instrument nyckelharpa, and is also the genius behind the non-binary folk costume B\u00e4ckadr\u00e4kten. In this video they talk about the costume and how it came to be, and how that merges with their discovery of their own gender identity.<\/p>\n

\nLeo plays music on her sewing machine. Stygn is a kind of music video for the song of the same name. From the concentration of everyday work comes music and through it the doors open to a reality where unicorns might exist and look at you with serious eyes, even if they look a bit homely. Since its invention at the end of the 18th century, the sewing machine has become one of the world\u2019s most common instruments. Millions of people play their sewing machines every day, but, perhaps because of the low status of the instrument, few of them have taken their musicianship to a professional level and presented it to an audience.<\/p>\n

\nA queer experimental film about unwanted childlessness in a world where normative heterosexual relationships dictate who can become parents and in what way. When it comes to reproduction our merciless bodies reduce us to merely a set sex or given gender. But the longing for children is not limited to our bodies, and the possibility of pregnancy can be gifted, shared and undertaken together.<\/p>\n

Awakening Film (Will Never Happen) <\/strong>

\nAwakening Film (Will Never Happen) from 2020 was filmed in the Malm\u00f6 cinema Panora during the art event Fish Tank, and is a ceremonial image and sound experiment inspired by the practice of Maya Deren, among others. The film documents an art happening or a performance piece, and image and sound are processed into a time-dissolved dream without dramatic plot, but with followable micro-processes which run both forwards and backwards through the entire length of the film. The sibling film Awakening Film (First Square) is a square black and white silent film consisting of material from the same occasion, arranged in a different way. The films should never ever be shown at the same time.<\/p>\n

The idea actually started in frustration with all the whites with dreads I saw in Queer Moving History \u2013 part 2 and then I started digging in my own QMH archives and guess what \u2013 there were no whites with dreads!<\/p>\n

\nProgressive Genitalia \u2013 the infomercial slideshow is a presentation film for the futuristic company Progressive Genitalia. Progressive Genitalia, a futuristic company that creates your dream genitalia using biotechnology and CRISPR\/cas9. The film is usually shown in combination with a performance by Professor Rory who is the scientist behind Progressive Genitalia. In three simple steps you design and create your dream genitalia. The film shows a slideshow of different Alien-like genders like an order catalog and explains their functions. At the end, the professor undresses and reveals his own modified genitalias. Those of you who only watch the film can, based on what is said, imagine what it looks like.<\/p>\n
