Paul B. Preciado / France / 2023 / 98 min / English subtitles
Tuesday Oct 1 at 20.00, Tranströmerbiblioteket

Gathering a cast of 26 trans and non-binary people in the ages 8 to 70, Paul B. Preciado sets out to discuss what impact Virgia Woolf’s 1928 classic novel Orlando has today. All of them get to interpret the novel and play the role of Orlando, using their own identity and transition as a backdrop, turning this film into part shared biography and part social manifesto. Orlando, My Political Biography was awarded the Teddy Award for the Best Documentary Film and has been praised at many more festivals for its boldness, creativity and humor.
