The anxious and introverted (and thus very relatable) space princess Saira suddenly has to go on a galactic quest to save her ex-girlfriend Kiki from the “Straight White Mailiens”. Saira must leave her very secluded life to deliver the most powerful weapon known to lesbian kind: the Royal Labrys. There’s only one problem… She doesn’t have it. In their directorial debut, real life couple Emma Hough Hobbs and Leela Varghese were inspired by comedies like Legally Blonde and Forgetting Sarah Marshall to create this wild, colorful and very gay animated feature.
