Accelerator presents the exhibition Gravity, Be My Friend by Pipilotti Rist. This large-scale audiovisual installation takes up one of Accelerator\u2019s two galleries. As a visitor, you are invited to lie down on large islands of mats and immerse yourself in sound and film projected onto amorphous structures in the ceiling.<\/span><\/p>\n

About the exhibition<\/strong><\/p>\n

When the work Gravity, Be My Friend was made, Pipilotti Rist\u2019s artistic investigations centred on how we experience the moving image when lying down. She worked with situations where, in her words, we can be \u2018gentler with ourselves\u2019. When lying down, our muscles are more relaxed, which in turn affects the way we think, see, and experience.<\/span><\/p>\n
