Butcherqueen, Grebnellaw, and Leffe Crumlove step into the Royal Academy’s collections. Not as passive guests, but as infiltrators, a living infection. We are not searching for the beautiful; we are searching for the repressed. We are looking for works that carry historical lies, the works that have erased our foremothers, our trans brothers and trans sisters, our desires and our ashes. By confronting these traces, we want to extract impulses for new figures, bodies, actions, and sounds. The visit becomes an intervention in which we use our own artistic practices to rewrite history from within the institution’s own halls.<\/p>\n
