This documentary follows the transgender couple Isis and Lourenzo, who are having a baby. The fact that the father, Lourenzo, is the pregnant one, leads to various struggles and hardship, not only with the Brazilian society and medical system, but also with their own identities. Apolo allows the audience to take part of their daily lives, their love and their struggle to find trans inclusive prenatal care in the country that kills the highest number of trans people in the world.
